Construction Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day construction operations across multiple projects.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor project progress, quality, costs, manpower, materials, and resources.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to required standards.
- Identify and resolve operational and site-related issues promptly.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance.
- Ensure compliance with construction, safety, and quality requirements.
- Provide regular progress updates and operational reports to management.
- Improve construction processes, productivity, and overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in construction operations or project management.
- Proven experience managing multiple construction projects and teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, cost control, and resource management.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
- Willingness to travel between project sites when required.
Additional Requirements
- Experience in high-rise building projects will be an added advantage.
- Membership in a professional body will be an advantage.
