Senior Executive / Executive

House of Travel & Tourism (H.O.T) is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Tailor-Made Department as a Senior Executive / Executive. Be part of our team and help us create personalized travel experiences across Sri Lanka, delivering unforgettable journeys to our valued clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create personalized itineraries based on client needs, budget, and interests.
- Prepare quotations, costing, and proposals.
- Handle hotel, transport, excursions, guides, and activity bookings.
- Coordinate with overseas agents, clients, and local suppliers.
- Negotiate rates and manage profit margins.
- Process confirmations, amendments, cancellations, and special requests.
- Prepare final itineraries, vouchers, and travel documents.
- Follow up on inquiries and convert bookings.
- Handle last-minute changes and operational issues.
- Ensure smooth delivery of tours and maintain strong client relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years experience in inbound tourism / tour operations.
- Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan destinations, hotels, and excursions.
- Experience creating itineraries, quotations, and tour costing.
- Hotel bookings, supplier coordination, and reservation management.
- Ability to handle overseas agents, clients, and last-minute changes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good Excel/MS Office and numerical skills.
- Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and perform under pressure.
