Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement branch business and sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of the branch sales team.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strong client and business partnerships.
- Manage branch operations, resources, costs, and profitability effectively.
- Ensure compliance with underwriting, claims, and company policies and procedures.
- Plan and execute promotional, marketing, and business development activities.
- Recruit, develop, train, and retain high-performing sales personnel.
- Build and maintain relationships with key business partners and potential distribution channels.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities, providing relevant insights to management.
- Prepare and submit timely performance reports and monitor key business indicators.
- Ensure effective coordination between sales and non-sales functions for smooth branch operations.
- Perform other duties assigned by management in line with business requirements.
Qualifications & Pre-requisites
- Full/part qualification in SLIM/CIM Diploma or Industry related qualification
- Minimum of 10 years experience in sales with minimum 05 years in supervisory level
- Excellent communication skills (Sinhala and Tamil / English)
- Building effective interpersonal relationships. Clear and continuous track record on performance
- Leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Clear and continuous track record in performance
- Negotiation skill
- Age should be below 50 years
