Vacancy for the position of EMBROIDERY TECHNICIAN
Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC is looking for an experienced Embroidery Technician to support high-quality embroidery production through skilled machine operation, accurate setup, quality control and routine maintenance.
Job Profile
- Operate computerized embroidery machines, including multi-head machines.
- Set up machines and change threads, needles, hoops and backing materials.
- Read embroidery designs, job sheets and production specifications.
- Work with different fabrics, stabilizers and thread types.
- Troubleshoot basic machine issues and carry out preventive maintenance.
- Maintain quality standards and meet production requirements while working collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Personal Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 – 7 years of experience in embroidery machine operation or a related manufacturing environment.
- Experience with computerized embroidery machines such as Tajima, Barudan, SWF, Ricoma or Brother.
- Knowledge of embroidery software such as Wilcom, Pulse or Hatch will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret embroidery designs, job sheets and production specifications.
- Understanding of different fabrics, stabilizers and thread types.
- Strong attention to detail, good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
