Mark and Comm is a boutique strategic communications and PR agency, and the Rest of South Asia PR Agency of the Year 2025. We are recruiting on behalf of a confidential client who is building a new premium multi vendor clothing platform for the Sri Lankan market. The platform is in active development and moving towards launch later this Month. The client's identity will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
What You'll Do
- Be the day to day point of contact for vendors, handling queries, requests and issues quickly and professionally.
- Take new vendors from first conversation to going live, including registration, documentation, catalogue setup, pricing and inventory input.
- Manage a portfolio of vendor accounts and track performance, fulfilment timelines, stock accuracy and service standards.
- Run onboarding and operational workstreams as projects, with clear timelines, owners and follow through.
- Support vendor agreements, commission terms and policy compliance, and resolve escalations on payments, returns and listings.
- Work with the development, logistics and customer service teams, passing on vendor feedback and flagging issues early.
- Keep accurate trackers and reports on onboarding status, vendor pipeline and account health, and help build the processes for a function that is just taking shape.
What We're Looking For
- 2 to 4 years of experience in client servicing, account management or operations, ideally in retail, fashion, e commerce or an agency.
- A strong client servicing instinct, with the patience and polish to keep vendor relationships steady.
- Hands on experience onboarding clients, vendors or partners, and managing a portfolio of accounts.
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to juggle several workstreams and deadlines.
- A background in fashion, apparel or clothing retail is a definite advantage.
- Comfort working with autonomy in a startup setting, and good attention to detail in documentation and follow up.
- Fluency in English and Sinhala is mandatory, working knowledge of Tamil is a strong advantage.
- A degree or professional qualification is preferred but not essential, relevant experience will be given equal weight.
- Discretion to keep an unannounced business venture confidential.
