Zahira College, one of the prominent educational institutions in the country with a history of over 134 years, it has been decided to establish an Examination Unit as a part of the new Management Structure. We are looking for passionate, dynamic and inspirational candidates with proven track record and relevant educational background with sufficient experience for the following position;
HEAD OF EXAMINATION UNIT
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the preparation and maintenance of examination papers and ensure that they align with the curriculum or assessment standards
- Developing an annual examination schedule and ensuring the smooth coordination of examinations
- Conducting regular reviews and analysis of examination results and obtaining feedback to identify areas for improvement related to exam paper marking
- Ensuring the security and confidentiality of examination materials to prevent exam paper leaks or breaches
- Managing examination-related documentation
- Staying up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to examinations
- Ability to take responsibility of the Examination Unit administration and coordination of examination activities
Qualifications & Experience
- A Graduate of a recognized University in Sri Lanka or Overseas with supporting Degrees / Post Graduate Diploma in Education especially in Evaluation and Assessment
- Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in a similar or senior capacity or Senior level in a recognized school, either local or overseas
- Overseas exposure in trainings and working experience will be an advantage
- Good communication skills in English and Tamil or Sinhala, preferably trilingual
- The ideal candidate would be a matured proactive person in the age range of 45-55 years
