Assistant Manager - Collections & Recoveries
- Manage and improve collections and recovery performance of the digital lending portfolio, with a focus on device financing
- Drive recovery strategies to reduce delinquencies and maximize recoveries
- Monitor portfolio trends and identify opportunities to enhance collection effectiveness
- Oversee device control processes, including device locking and unlocking
- Manage and coordinate with recovery agencies, technology partners, and vendors
- Track partner performance against agreed SLAs and recovery targets
- Support implementation of new recovery tools, systems, and solutions
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system validations
The Person
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Banking, Management, or a related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years' experience in collections, recoveries, digital lending, consumer finance, or portfolio management
- Experience managing collections agencies, recovery partners, or technology vendors is an advantage
- Exposure to device financing, fintech, or unsecured lending is an added benefit
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Results-oriented with a strong focus on performance and continuous improvement
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
