YOUR ROLE WILL INVOLVE
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain mechanical equipment, incinerators, and waste-treatment systems.
- Prepare maintenance schedules and maintain service records.
- Identify faults and recommend equipment improvements.
- Supervise technicians, welders, fitters, and fabricators.
- Support machinery installation, repairs, and commissioning.
- Ensure workshop safety and monitor maintenance costs and spare parts.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role in heavy steel fabrication, preferably with experience in refractory works.
- Strong practical experience in welding, forming and fitting, machine fabrication and industrial equipment maintenance.
- Ability to supervise welders, fitters, fabricators, and mechanical technicians.
- Knowledge of incinerators, waste-treatment plants, or clinical waste management equipment will be an added advantage.
