Executive I / II — Internal Audit (Gold Loan Audits)

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning of individual audits related to Gold Loan Operations.
- Conduct regular branch visits and perform audit procedures, tests, and verifications to achieve the Internal Audit objectives for Gold Loan Operations.
- Check and ensure staff and departmental compliance with established policies, procedures, and controls.
- Identify control weaknesses and other issues that require management's attention.
- Discuss findings with Management and Process Owners, and make recommendations to improve internal control procedures.
- Prepare Internal Audit Reports and other reports for the Supervising Manager.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of work performed during each assignment.
Eligibility
- One to two years' experience in Gold Loan Audits or Gold Loan Operations is mandatory.
- Ability to identify and distinguish genuine gold articles from other metals and alloys.
- Passed GCE O/L and A/L examinations.
- Fluency in Sinhala and Tamil / English languages.
- Willing to travel extensively across the branch network.
