BARISTA
Fairway Colombo Hotel, Colombo Fort — Full-Time, Shift-Based | Reports to: Café Manager
Join our Café team and help deliver quality drinks, welcoming service and a consistently positive guest experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea and other hot and cold beverages consistently, following café recipes and presentation standards.
- Support friendly, efficient service by taking orders accurately, assisting with payments and coordinating with colleagues.
- Keep the bar and equipment clean, follow food safety procedures, replenish stock and support opening and closing duties.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Previous Barista experience is helpful, but not required. A strong interest in coffee and willingness to learn are important.
- Familiarity with espresso machines, grinders and milk steaming is an advantage.
- Friendly communication, conversational English and a customer-focused attitude.
- Reliability, punctuality, teamwork and attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Willingness to work rostered shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
