BRANCH MANAGER - LIFE

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the branch business plan in line with Life Insurance strategies and achieve agreed revenue and business targets.
- Lead, motivate and monitor the performance of sales teams, ensuring achievement of KPIs and sustained business growth.
- Oversee branch-wide sales, underwriting, claims, administration and service operations to ensure efficient and compliant delivery.
- Drive effective marketing and promotional initiatives by identifying local market opportunities and evaluating campaign outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners, organizations, government and non-government institutions and insurance intermediaries to generate business opportunities.
- Manage branch resources, manpower, training and development while conducting market and competitor analysis to support continuous business growth and service excellence.
Qualifications/Pre-requisites/Requirements for the position
- Degree/Master Degree in Business Management from a UGC approved University or full/part qualification in Insurance/ SLIM CIM /Diploma/Postgraduate Diploma.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Sales with 05 years in Supervisory Level.
- A self-driven leader with excellent communication skills which includes Sinhala Tamil & English and a pleasing personality.
- Proven capability of building effective interpersonal relationships.
- Clear and continuous track record in performance.
- Age below 50 years.
