EXECUTIVE | SENIOR EXECUTIVE
GOLD LOAN OPERATIONS (GOLD INSPECTION)

THE PROFILE
- Conduct inspections and verifications of operational procedures and practices relating to Gold Loan Operations, Cash Operations, security measures and compliance requirements.
- Assist in identifying emerging operational risks at both individual branch and overall operational levels and report identified risk concerns to the relevant authorities.
- Monitor compliance with established risk control procedures by reviewing records, operational practices and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with the Head of Risk Management regarding branches with high-risk audit findings and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Assist in implementing corrective measures to address identified risk findings and prevent recurrence of operational issues in branches.
- Prepare reports on identified risks, operational weaknesses and compliance-related findings as required.
THE PERSON
- Minimum of five (05) years of industry experience in the Gold Loan Department.
- Knowledge of gold assessment, gold testing and gold identification techniques.
- Good understanding of risk management principles, operational controls and compliance practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, assess and report potential operational risks.
- Excellent communication, coordination and report-writing skills.
- Computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced working environment.
- Previous experience in Gold Loan Operations, branch inspections or operational risk assessments will be an added advantage.
