ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANTS
ACCOUNTS ASSISTANTS
We are an ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 certified leading Construction Company with the highest (CS-2) Grading for Highways and are looking for suitable persons for the following vacancies.
ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and monthly accounts.
- Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and accounting records.
- Assist with Internal & External Audit.
- Assist in calculating VAT, VST, PAYE, Stamp Duty, and Corporate Income Tax (CIT), preparing and submitting relevant tax returns and sound working knowledge of the RAMIS system.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance from a recognized University.
- Passed finalist AAT, Part Qualified ICASL, ACCA, CMA, or an equivalent accounting qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Assistant Accountant or 3 years of experience in an audit firm or commercial establishment will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially in MS Excel and Advanced Excel.
- Working Experience in an ERP system will be an added advantage.
- Experience, in the construction industry will be an advantage.
ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily accounting records, cash books, and petty cash records.
- Handle supplier invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain supplier and subcontractor accounts.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
Requirements:
- Passed finalist AAT, Part Qualified ICASL, ACCA, CMA, or an equivalent accounting qualification.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially in MS Excel and Advanced Excel.
- Working Experience in an ERP system will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to work at the project located island wide.
