Manager: Business Development (Event Management)
Location: Colombo 14
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Expand strategic client & institutional networks to generate new business opportunities.
- Drive revenue target achievement through market expansion, pitches, and contract closings.
- Build and manage key client accounts from concept pitch to post-event engagement.
- Collaborate with production & event teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing or any other related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role; sales or business development is an advantage.
- Computer literacy (MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook etc)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willing to travel as required.
