Construction Site Supervisor – Workforce & Operations
Overview
DRP Recruitment & Consultant (Pvt) Ltd is a growing manpower and workforce management company specializing in supplying skilled and unskilled Indian workers to construction projects in Sri Lanka. We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Supervisor with a strong civil construction background and previous Middle East construction experience to join our team.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a responsible, practical and proactive supervisor who can understand construction-site challenges, support our Indian workforce, solve problems quickly and help improve productivity, discipline and service quality at every DRP client site.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit and monitor construction sites regularly.
- Identify site-related issues affecting Indian workers and coordinate with the relevant site management to resolve them.
- Monitor worker attendance, discipline, productivity and performance.
- Support Indian workers with workplace-related issues and grievances.
- Communicate effectively with Indian workers and site management.
- Monitor workers' deployment according to their skills and assigned duties.
- Identify manpower shortages, productivity issues and other site requirements and report them to DRP management.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors and HR/Operations teams.
- Follow up on worker accommodation, welfare, safety and site-related concerns.
- Prepare regular site visit and workforce performance reports.
- Support DRP in improving workforce productivity and client satisfaction.
- Take immediate action on operational issues and escalate major concerns to management.
Requirements
- Civil Engineering / Civil Construction background is preferred.
- Previous experience working as a Construction Site Supervisor / Foreman / Site Coordinator.
- Previous Middle East construction experience is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of construction site activities and civil works.
- Good Hindi speaking ability is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate with both Indian workers and Sri Lankan site management.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Will work independently and visit multiple construction sites.
- Experience in manpower/workforce management will be an added advantage.
- Valid driving licence is an added advantage.

Salary
LKR 120,000 to LKR 150,000, based on experience
