The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost planning, budgeting, and cost management for façade, cladding, solar shading, and interior solutions projects from pre-contract to post-contract stages. The role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, designers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure financial accuracy, support decision-making, and optimize project profitability while meeting quality and sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and conduct detailed measurements.
- Lead cost planning, budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
- Monitor project expenditures and prepare periodic cost reports.
- Evaluate tender documents and support procurement and tender activities.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers and designers throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
- Strong cost planning and management skills, including budgeting and forecasting for construction and façade projects.
- Proficiency in BOQ preparation, measurement, cost reporting and cost control processes.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement practices and tender evaluation.
- Advanced skills in relevant MS Software and MS Office (Excel, Word), with strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Prior experience in large-scale commercial or architectural projects is an advantage.
- Familiarity with sustainable and eco-friendly construction solutions is an added advantage.
