HEAD OF DEPARTMENT – CONSTRUCTION / DEPUTY HEAD OF DEPARTMENT – CONSTRUCTION
Asset Engineering (Pvt) Ltd, a distinguished CS1-grade and ISO-certified construction company in Sri Lanka, invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the following senior management positions.
01 HEAD OF DEPARTMENT – CONSTRUCTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for construction projects.
- Oversee multiple projects to ensure timely completion within approved budgets and quality standards.
- Monitor project performance, resource allocation, and cost control.
- Lead Project Managers and site teams to achieve organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Report project progress, operational challenges, and strategic recommendations to top management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry, including senior management experience.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills.
02 DEPUTY HEAD OF DEPARTMENT – CONSTRUCTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the HOD in overseeing and coordinating construction projects.
- Monitor daily project operations, progress, and resource utilization.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and site teams to ensure project targets are achieved.
- Review project schedules, progress reports, and construction activities.
- Identify operational challenges and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the construction industry, including project management responsibilities.
- Experience in managing civil engineering and infrastructure construction projects.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and project management skills.
