WE ARE HIRING – INTERNAL AUDITOR
CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Golden Star Global (Pvt) Ltd and its group of companies are seeking a qualified, experienced and independent Internal Auditor to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUDIT SCOPE
- Plan and conduct internal audits across company operations.
- Review finance, accounting and cash management.
- Audit procurement, purchasing and supplier controls.
- Verify stores, inventory and physical stock.
- Review production and operational controls.
- Examine sales, distribution and receivables.
- Conduct surprise audits and compliance checks.
- Identify risks, irregularities and control weaknesses.
- Prepare audit reports and recommend improvements.
- Follow up corrective actions and report key findings to Directors.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business Management.
- G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification in the Commerce stream.
- CA Sri Lanka / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Previous internal audit experience preferred; manufacturing experience is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, investigative and report-writing skills.
- High integrity, confidentiality and ability to work independently.
