Join our team at ITS Lanka for the position of IT Hardware Technician Field - Laptop Support (On-site).
ITS Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a skilled and service-oriented IT Hardware Technician (Field) – Laptop Support to join our growing team. If you are passionate about technology, enjoy working on-site, and are committed to delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site laptop support, diagnostics and repairs at client locations
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues (e.g. motherboard, display, keyboard, battery, charging, etc.)
- Install, configure and upgrade laptop components (SSD, RAM, etc.)
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and testing
- Assist with data backup, OS installation and software setups
- Provide technical guidance and support to end-users
- Maintain accurate service records, reports and customer feedback
- Ensure timely resolution and excellent customer service at all times
- Work closely with the technical team on projects and service requirements
Requirements
- Diploma / Certificate in Computer Hardware, IT, or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant experience (fresh candidates with strong technical knowledge may also apply)
- Good knowledge of laptop hardware and peripherals (HP, Dell, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to client locations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused attitude and professional behavior
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required
