QJ Quartz Stone is an Engineered Quartz manufacturer, distributor, retailer and fabricator. We are growing our dynamic team. We have the biggest Quartz factory in Sri Lanka with multiple sites being carried out on a daily basis.
The selected candidate will be based in Mount Lavinia. We are seeking a dynamic new team member and invite applications from suitable candidates capable and interested in the following job role.
TECHNICAL OFFICER - CONSTRUCTION
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- NDT/NCT or Diploma with 2 years’ experience.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and MS Projects.
- Possess experience in following a project plan and completion of project on time.
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
- Experience in setting out, furnishing and handover.
- Should be able to work for extended hours till targets are met.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to prepare basic construction schedule.
- Experience in material ordering.
- Pre-planning resources, calling for contractors, approving quality standards of resources to execute project plan.
- Ability to maintain a high level of finishing standards, ideally with residential development experience.
- Independently handling entire project with limited or no supervision.
- Maintaining an excellent relationship with other executives, direct workers, contracted teams, clients, designers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution and installations.
- Preparing daily progress report and weekly plan and presenting to the management.
- Coordinating with the stores and ensuring all material required for the project plan are available.
- Proposing methods and improve progress speed.
