ARTHAVIDA INTERMEDIARY LIMITED, a longstanding microfinance company committed to poverty reduction through financial inclusion, is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified professional for the position of Manager – Audit, based at our Head Office in Ratmalana.
MANAGER – AUDIT (MICROFINANCE)
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct operational, financial, and field audits across our 16-branch network.
- Review branch-level lending activities, loan disbursements, recoveries, and day-to-day operations.
- Identify weaknesses and risks relating to credit controls, documentation, recoveries, and field operations with established policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Assess compliance with established policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Prepare audit findings and recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.
- Lead and support the audit team in maintaining effective internal controls and improving operational efficiency.
- Reporting To: Chairman / Board of Directors
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field; or partly qualified in CA Sri Lanka.
- Relevant professional experience in the microfinance sector will be considered an important advantage.
Remuneration
An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the selected candidate, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Candidate Profile
The position is particularly suitable for a mature and experienced professional, who has gained sound practical experience in audit related responsibilities in Microfinance sector. Previous experience in Microfinance auditing is a must and senior and/or retired professionals are encouraged to apply.
