Technical Officer - Construction
(Based in Mount Lavinia)

Sk ills & Qualifications
- NDT/NCT or Diploma with 2 years’ experience.
- Practical experience in setting out, structural work, finishing work and handover.
- Good knowledge of construction drawings, measurements and site execution.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and MS Projects.
- Good communication skills in Sinhala and English.
- Ability to handle assigned site activities independently with minimum supervision.
- Should be able to work extended hours when required to meet project targets.
- Having a valid bike licence and own bike will be an added advantage.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Prepare basic construction schedules and follow up on progress.
- Maintain required finishing and installation quality standards.
- Coordinate materials required for ongoing project activities.
- Coordinate with installers, contractors and subcontractors for smooth execution.
- Maintain good working relationships with project teams and other relevant parties.
- Identify site issues, take appropriate action and escalate when required.
- Read and interpret drawings and ensure work follows specifications.
- Prepare progress reports and suggest practical ways to improve work efficiency.
