VICE PRINCIPAL (Gampaha Branch)
We are seeking an accomplished, dynamic, and results-oriented Vice Principal to support the Principal in leading our institution towards excellence in academic achievement, student development, and operational effectiveness. As the second-in-command, the Vice Principal will play a critical leadership role in driving academic performance, managing day-to-day school operations, and ensuring the successful implementation of the school's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and monitor the school's academic performance, ensuring the achievement of excellence in teaching and learning outcomes.
- Oversee curriculum implementation, assessment processes and academic improvement initiatives.
- Teach assigned classes while contributing directly to instructional delivery and maintaining strong engagement with students and classroom practice.
- Support and supervise academic staff to maintain high standards of teaching effectiveness and professional development.
- Assist the Principal in the overall management and administration of the school.
- Act on behalf of the Principal in his/her absence and provide leadership as the designated second-in-command.
- Support student discipline, welfare and the development of a positive school culture.
- Coordinate and monitor school operations, events, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure compliance with educational policies, regulations and institutional standards.
Skills & Capabilities
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Educational Management or a related field. A Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in educational leadership, academic management, or school administration.
- Demonstrated success in improving academic performance and leading educational initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to inspire, mentor, and manage staff while maintaining high professional standards.
- Sound knowledge of curriculum development, assessment systems, and educational best practices.
