OVIN GASES (PVT) LTD.
We are Ovin Gases (Pvt) Ltd. and a well-established organization that is engaged in manufacturing Industrial gases & distributing them around Sri Lanka. We are seeking dynamic and result-oriented individuals to join our Finance team for the post of Industrial Electrician (Male)
The Person we are looking for must possess,
- NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, & breakdown maintenance.
- Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control panels, motors, starters, contactors, relays, sensors, switches & electrical protection systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting three phase electrical systems, motors, pumps, compressors, generators, & other industrial equipment would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of motor control circuits, electrical wiring, cable termination, testing, and fault finding.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures & safe working practices.
- Ability to work independently & attend to emergency electrical breakdowns when required.
- Age between 25-45 years.
- Candidates residing in Homagama, Athurugiriya, Hanwella, or surrounding areas will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventive, corrective & breakdown electrical maintenance of the plant.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and minimize plant downtime.
- Maintain motors, control panels, starters, pumps, compressors, generators & other electrical equipment & Conduct inspections of electrical systems & identify potential faults.
- Attend to electrical breakdowns and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Ensure electrical installations and maintenance activities comply with safety standards and company procedures.
- Maintain proper records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and equipment condition.
- Assist the Engineer in ensuring continuous and reliable plant operation.
