Shift Production Executive
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensures that products are produced in accordance with all manufacturing and quality specifications and leads the workforce in safe manufacturing procedures.
- To design, develop, modified and arrangement for prototype based on customers' requirement and market trend.
- Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, maintenance and other operational reports, to detect production problems to continuously improve the productivity of the plant.
- Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control programs.
- Assist in documentary all applicable procedures with work instructions and other documentation.
- Assist with creating /implementing technical improvements and maintenance systems for manufacturing process.
- Responsible to maintain good working relationships between all departments in operation and company to enhance the Factory effectiveness.
- Coordinate production job scheduling with machine operators and maintenance personnel on a daily basis to assure efficient and cost effective use of machinery and resources.
- Manage the flow of production and quality control and develop strategies to improve the quality and overall flow of the production by Maintaining Zero Idle Time of the machines.
- Ensure the implementation of the compliance with safety policies, procedures and practice at the plant.
- Responsible for development, training and coaching of operators, sets individual KPI and team goals for machine operator and helpers to provide continuous feedback.
- Work with production teams to ensure cost effective, high quality and timely delivery of production.
- Ensure overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Production Department is always intact.
Qualifications & Experience:
- The Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree/Bachelor' Degree, Professional Degree in Engineering/Science or have a qualification from NDT polymer technology.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering, operations, plant management or R&D Design Environment.
- Having Experience in Injection Moulding, Parison Blow Moulding and Stretch Blow Moulding would be a distinct advantage.
- Results oriented and capacity to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills, strong communication and ability to adapt to any work condition.
- Computer literate with good report writing skills & ability to analyze, capture and present information effectively.
- Excellent written and spoken skills in Sinhala, English. Knowledge in Tamil would be a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in design/2D & 3D AutoCAD drawing/Solid Moulding/Cat Soft tools/CAT CAM
- Experience in analyze different materials, manufacture, process, design tolerance & other development process.
- Flexible to work any/all shifts, schedules, hours and areas including weekends, night and holidays as needed.
