WE ARE HIRING
Steel Detailer / Structural Draftsman
Join our Sri Lanka office and work on structural steel projects for fabricators in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
- Prepare accurate steel shop drawings and erection drawings
- Develop steel details using AutoCAD and/or Tekla Structures
- Prepare material takeoffs and related documentation
- Review drawings for accuracy and project compliance
- Coordinate with project managers and the detailing team
Qualifications
- Diploma / Certificate / Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, Construction, or related field
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD
- Ability to read structural and architectural drawings
- Ability to visualize structures in 3D
- Steel detailing experience preferred
- Tekla Structures or SDS2 experience is an added advantage
- Structural draftsmen willing to learn steel detailing are encouraged to apply
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
