Quality Assurance Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established quality specifications.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, test reports, traceability records, and quality documentation throughout all stages of production.
- Prepare and maintain internal quality documents while supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of QA and QC procedures.
- Coordinate with production and other relevant departments to identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
- Perform process validations, product analysis, and process performance verification to identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement.
- Ensure products and manufacturing processes comply with applicable national and international quality standards while independently maintaining product quality and meeting customer requirements.
Qualifications and requirements
- Must have passed G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) in the mathematics stream.
- A minimum of 02 years of experience in the Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) field is mandatory.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal, along with computer literacy, is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people management skills are required.
- Previous experience in the metal packaging, food manufacturing, or can manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and numerical skills, with knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques.
- Applicants must be below 35 years of age.
