MECHANICAL & AUTOMATION ENGINEER
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Schedule and undertake periodic preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical, electrical, electronics and automation issues collaboratively with plant engineers and guide plant technicians in carrying out regular and unplanned maintenance tasks in achieving desired level of plant output.
- Design, develop and install PLC based control systems for equipment/ machinery.
- Develop user/operator interfaces, process control programs and application codes.
- Maintain and overhaul all electrical equipment and systems to agreed level of performance in accordance with planned maintenance schedule.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting addressable fire alarm systems.
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- BSc. Engineering in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering from recognized University.
- Minimum 5 years' Experience as a Mechanical and Automation Engineer in reputed manufacturing organization.
- Hands on experience on motor controls and drive, communication systems and networking, PLC & HMI - trouble shooting, VFD programming, SCADA systems, Date coding machines and UPS systems.
- Good knowledge in process related analogue and digital sensors - Proximity sensors, temperature sensors, flow meters, pressure sensors, batch controllers, conductivity sensors, etc.
- Knowledge on manufacturing process and systems with experience in process automation.
