WE ARE HIRING
FINANCE MANAGER
K.S.T. Evergreen (Private) Limited is a BOI-approved company operating in the agricultural sector since 1998. Our core business includes promoting maize cultivation among farmers in Anuradhapura and Monaragala and processing maize to international standards for human consumption and animal feed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Finance & Accounting: Oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting function, including monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables and financial reporting.
- Management Reporting: Prepare monthly management dashboards, financial analysis and KPI reports, highlighting key variances, trends and areas requiring management attention.
- Banking & Treasury: Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including banking facilities, loans, guarantees, cash management and other banking requirements.
- Audit, Tax & Compliance: Coordinate the annual audit and ensure timely completion of audit requirements, statutory obligations, tax compliance and proper maintenance of financial records.
- Internal Controls & Governance: Establish, strengthen and monitor internal controls, approval mechanisms and governance practices.
- SOPs & Process Improvement: Ensure compliance with established SOPs and continuously identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes.
- Transaction Review & Risk Management: Conduct regular reviews of financial transactions, identify control weaknesses or unusual transactions and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, guide and develop junior finance staff, ensuring accurate and timely accounting processes.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in Finance/Accounting (compulsory).
- Part or fully qualified CA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent qualification.
- Strong practical knowledge of financial accounting, reporting and financial controls.
- Good understanding of internal controls, governance and SOPs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function.
- Hands-on experience in QuickBooks will be an added advantage.
- Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, trading or processing industries will be an added advantage.
