STORES MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing daily stores and warehouse operations, including receiving, issuing, and proper storage of materials.
- Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring timely stock updates in the system.
- Monitoring inventory levels, stock movements, and conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations.
- Ensuring proper handling, identification, storage, and safeguarding of company materials and assets.
- Coordinating with Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Operation, and project teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Preparing stock reports and supporting management with inventory analysis and control.
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and internal controls.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Stores Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Stores/Warehouse or Inventory Management role; experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and warehouse practices.
- Computer literacy and experience with ERP/stock management systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
- Candidates residing within 30 KM of Matara will be preferred.
