POST OF CREDIT CONTROL OFFICER
Join our dynamic team and build a rewarding career with us. We are looking for a detail-oriented, responsible professional who is passionate about accounting and financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor customer outstanding balances and aging reports.
- Follow up with customers on overdue invoices and obtain payment commitments.
- Ensure collections are made within agreed credit terms.
- Prepare and submit regular collection, aging, and outstanding reports.
- Coordinate with Finance, Sales, Service, SCT, Workshop, and other departments to resolve billing and collection issues.
- Follow up on pending invoices, customer approvals, POs, supporting documents, and disputed invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, payment commitments, and collection activities.
- Identify high-risk and long-outstanding accounts and escalate them to management.
- Monitor customer credit limits and payment behavior.
- Coordinate with Finance for payment identification, allocation, and account reconciliation.
- Maintain proper documentation of all collection activities and customer communications.
- Support management in recovering long-outstanding debts and resolving customer disputes.
- Identify opportunities to improve the credit-control and collection process.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and approved credit terms.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
- 1 or 2 years of relevant experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or finance.
Skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and follow-up skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and coordinate effectively with internal and external parties.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.
