Ink Officer
Production Division Reports to: Assistant Factory/Production Manager
Tuffline Tuffline pioneers flexible barrier packaging for dairy, tea, confectionery, biscuits, construction and healthcare. Your Role
- Ensure accurate colour matching, consistent print quality and efficient material usage across Flexo, Gravure and HIPS printing
- Match colours and conduct online printing quality checks following QA approval
- Inspect and approve incoming inks against quality standards
- Monitor ink, adhesive and solvent usage, ensuring proper storage and labelling
- Provide accurate consumption data for costing
- Work with Production and QA to resolve colour and ink-related issues
- Maintain formulations, test results and usage records for audits and traceability
What You Bring
- A Diploma in Printing Technology, Chemistry or a related field
- 2 - 4 years' experience in printing or packaging manufacturing
- Expertise in Flexographic and Gravure printing and colour matching
- Strong knowledge of inks, solvents, adhesives and food-grade packaging quality and safety standards
- Sound documentation and reporting skills, attention to detail and the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment
