Senior CCTV Monitoring Room Operator
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Supervise & guide a team of CCTV operators in daily monitoring tasks.
- Ensure continuous & effective operation of the surveillance system.
- Monitor CCTV footage to detect & prevent security risks, theft, vandalism or safety violations.
- Review escalated incidents & coordinate with security staff or law enforcement where necessary.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly surveillance reports for management.
- Verify & archive CCTV recordings in line with organizational policies.
- Conduct periodic system checks & liaise with your technical staff for equipment maintenance.
- Train & mentor new operators on CCTV monitoring procedures & emergency protocols.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all surveillance data & information.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- G.C.E A/L or equivalent education (Diploma in Security Management preferred).
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in CCTV monitoring, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership & coordination skills.
- Excellent observation & analytical skills.
- Proficiency in operating advanced surveillance & access control systems.
- Ability to prepare clear & professional incident reports.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights & weekends.
