About the Role
Hexseas Engineering (Pvt) Ltd is a growing Sri Lankan industrial engineering company providing electrical, automation, mechanical and industrial engineering solutions to manufacturing and industrial customers. We are looking for a technically strong and motivated Electrical & Automation Engineer to join our team and take responsibility for industrial automation projects, electrical systems, machine commissioning and customer-site troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and commission industrial electrical and automation systems.
- Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs and HMI applications.
- Configure and program VFDs and motor-control systems.
- Prepare electrical and control system documentation.
- Integrate sensors, actuators and industrial devices.
- Install, test and commission at customer sites.
- Diagnose electrical faults and propose effective solutions.
- Prepare BOQs, specifications and material requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and project teams; communicate with customers to understand requirements.
- Support project execution and on-site commissioning activities.
Experience with the Following will be an Advantage
- Siemens / Mitsubishi / Omron / Schneider / Allen-Bradley PLCs
- Siemens / Weintek / Mitsubishi / Schneider HMIs
- Siemens / ABB / Schneider / Delta / Mitsubishi / Yaskawa VFDs
- SCADA systems
- Modbus / Profibus / Ethernet/IP
- Industrial instrumentation
- Servo systems
- Pneumatics and hydraulics
- Machine automation
- AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN
- Electrical control-panel design and commissioning
What We Are Looking For
- Candidates who have designed, programmed and commissioned automation projects with hands-on practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work in a collaborative team.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and deliver results under pressure.
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical / Electronics / Automation Engineering.
