AGRICULTURE OFFICER
We are looking for a dedicated Agriculture Officer with good sound knowledge of cultivation and management of coconut, pineapple and other commercial crops, with a strong understanding of organic cultivation.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with farmers and gather field-level information
- Evaluate farms for organic certification requirements
- Train and guide farmers on organic farming practices
- Maintain required documentation and conduct internal audits
- Support organic certification and farmer compliance activities
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or equivalent qualification
- Good knowledge in cultivation and management of coconut, pineapple and other commercial crops
- Knowledge of organic farming practices
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in the field
Preferred Location: Candidates residing near Mirigama & Giriulla will be given preference.
