Vacancies for AutoCad Draughtsman
We are a publicly listed company with over four decades of experience in telecommunication, electrical, water, and civil engineering projects across Sri Lanka. Due to the expansion of our civil and water project divisions, we are seeking a skilled & detail oriented AutoCad Draughtsman for our Civil/Water Engineering division. In this role, you will be placed at our Head Office at Moratuwa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate As-Built Drawings for completed construction works.
- Prepare Longitudinal / Profile Drawings for water and civil construction projects.
- Prepare plans, sections, details, and other technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Update drawings based on site measurements and construction changes.
- Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and site teams to ensure drawings accurately reflect site conditions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Relevant technical qualification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, NCT, NDT or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman, preferably in water, drainage, pipeline, or civil construction projects.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Experience preparing As-Built Drawings and Longitudinal Drawings.
- Ability to read and understand civil, structural, and utility drawings.
- Knowledge of surveying/site measurements will be an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in CAD software’s.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
Salary: negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications.
