Quantity Surveyor (Furniture Manufacturing)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates for furniture and interior fit-out projects
- Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, and cost schedules
- Interpret technical/CAD drawings and calculate material quantities accurately
- Monitor material costs and maintain updated pricing records
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and suppliers to ensure accurate costing
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma (NVQ Level 5) or Certificate (NVQ Level 4) in Quantity Surveying, or relevant industry experience
- Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates and material take-offs
- Good knowledge of measurements (feet, inches, mm) and unit conversions
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
- Strong analytical and communication skills
