ASSISTANT MANAGER - HUMAN RESOURCES

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition, including the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to separation.
  • Oversee payroll and employee benefits administration, including the accurate preparation and processing of employee incentive schemes.
  • Coordinate and manage the performance management and appraisal process, including KPI setting, performance evaluations and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
  • Manage employee relations, including grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
  • Monitor and analyze employee turnover, absenteeism and other key HR metrics, providing comprehensive monthly, quarterly and annual reports to management.
  • Prepare and present HR MIS, HR analytics and management reports, providing meaningful insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain and manage HRIS and employee records, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, confidentiality and timely updates.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Chartered Qualification in HRM (CQHRM) or Professional qualification in HRM (PHRQM) is an added advantage.
  • Or any other similar qualification in Human Resource Management.
  • 3 – 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in a similar capacity within a reputed organization.
  • Strong and up-to-date knowledge of Sri Lankan Labour Laws, employment regulations and HR best practices.
  • Proven proficiency in Power BI and Advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong HR data analytics and reporting capabilities with the ability to translate HR data into actionable insights.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems is essential.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
