Senior Manager – Consultancy & Business Development

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and pursue consultancy opportunities with government agencies, development partners, international organizations and other potential clients.
- Lead and oversee the preparation of technical and financial proposals.
- Provide strategic guidance and management oversight to proposal and project teams.
- Ensure quality, compliance and strategic alignment of consultancy proposals and project deliverables.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with national and international experts, consultants, institutions and partner organizations for new business and project delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A degree in Science, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Environmental Management, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree (MSc, MBA or higher qualification) will be a strong advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the consultancy or development sector, particularly in proposal development and project acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of consultancy bidding procedures, procurement processes and proposal submission requirements.
- Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and oversee project managers.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with strong command of English. Knowledge of Sinhala or Tamil will be an added advantage.
