DGM FINANCE - RECEIVABLES
Pra Su King (Pvt) Ltd., a company in the apparel industry established over 10 years ago, is now looking for a Recovery Manager to work in their Finance Department.
1. Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in debt collection, credit control, or accounts receivable.
- At least 1–2 years of supervisory or managerial experience (preferred).
- Proven track record of recovering overdue customer payments.
2. Debt recovery and collection skills
- Ability to recover overdue customer payments efficiently.
- Experience negotiating payment settlements and instalment plans.
- Ability to identify high-risk customers and prioritise outstanding debts.
- Experience handling difficult customers professionally.
- Knowledge of debt recovery procedures and applicable legal requirements.
3. Financial management
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable and outstanding customer balances.
- Ability to analyse debtor ageing reports (30, 60, 90 and 120+ days).
- Experience setting monthly collection targets.
- Ability to reduce overdue balances and improve company cash flow.
- Knowledge of credit limits and customer payment terms.
4. Leadership and management
- Ability to manage and supervise debt collection officers.
- Monitor individual and team collection performance.
- Develop effective debt recovery strategies.
- Coordinate with the finance, sales and legal departments.
- Ensure staff follow company policies and ethical collection practices.
5. Technical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
- Ability to maintain accurate customer payment records.
- Prepare weekly and monthly debt recovery reports.
