QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER / ASSISTANT QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER
EMPLOYMENT TYPE :- FULL TIME, PERMANENT
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Maintain and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) in Cable and PVC laboratories.
- Train, guide, and supervise Quality Controllers (QCs).
- Execute cost of poor quality (COPQ) reduction projects.
- Collaborate with the production team to improve process efficiency.
- Develop, review, and maintain product specifications in compliance with ISO, SLS, IEC, BS, EDL, and LECO standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers for quality improvements and corrective actions.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for quality issues.
- Coordinate with R&D for new product development and improvements.
- Support QCs to achieve departmental and organizational targets.
- Handle and coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Liaise with customers for cable selection and specification finalization.
- Conduct and support internal audits.
- Coordinating with EDL, LECO, CGR, and SLT for tender-related quality requirements.
- Develop and review new cable specifications.
- Review and recommend new testing equipment and methodologies.
YOU SHOULD:
- BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in Quality Assurance / Manufacturing / Electrical or PVC industries will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO-based QMS, internal audits, FAT, and testing standards.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
