ACCOUNTANT
JOB ROLE
- Responsible for the overall finance operations & submissions of financial reports to the company.
- Ensure timely payment of taxes & submission of tax returns to the IRD.
- Liaising with the banks, auditors, IRD, Government institutions & Company secretary.
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
- Maintain an updated general ledger.
- Prepare and file tax returns (income tax, VAT/SSCL, WHT or any other applicable).
- Reconcile bank statements with company records.
- Budgeting and financial forecasting. Ensure adherence to internal control procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/CIMA/CA certification preferred).
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of work experience in an audit firm.
- Experience in taxation, including VAT & SSCL.
- Should be IT literate (MS Office) and possess good communication skills.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
- Any exposure to real-estate and construction industry will be an added advantage.
