Technical Officer
Location
Location: Within Western Province
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, execution and completion of road construction projects.
- Assist in setting out works, levels and alignments as per drawings and specifications.
- Carry out measurements and quantity calculations.
- Maintain site records, test results and documentation.
- Assist in supervision of daily site activities to ensure quality and timely execution.
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and site staff.
- Assist in ensuring safety, housekeeping and environmental requirements are maintained at site.

Requirements
- Diploma / Higher Diploma / NDT (Civil Engineering) or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering/ Construction Technology or a relevant field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in road construction projects.
- Good knowledge of road construction methods, materials and quality standards.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications and BOQs.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office and basic quantity surveying.
- Good communication and team working skills.
- Willing to work at project sites within Western Province.
Additional Advantage
- Experience in government / donor funded projects.
- Knowledge of testing procedures and construction materials.
- Knowledge of measurement and basic surveying instruments.
