- CHEF DE PARTIE | DEMI CHEF

Join our dynamic bakery & pastry team as a Chef de Partie/Demi Chef, contributing to high-quality creations for our café/restaurant guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare & oversee daily Pastry & Bakery production, mise en place and service requirements
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation, portion control & adherence to recipes
- Assist Head Chef to plan production & coordinate tasks to ensure efficient workflow & timely service
- Monitor stock levels, ordering requirements, storage & stock rotation
- Maintain accurate production records & assist with food costing & wastage control
- Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, food safety & kitchen procedures
- Supervise, guide & train Commis-level team members
- Maintain a clean, organized & well-managed pastry & bakery section
- Work closely with the Head Chef on menu development, operational improvements & cost control
- Take responsibility for the section in the absence of the Head Chef
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a professional pastry or bakery operation
- Strong technical knowledge of pastry & bakery production
- Good organizational & team leadership skills
- Understanding of stock control, costing, production planning & wastage management
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality & consistency
- Ability to work under the leadership of the Head Chef & provide leadership to juniors
- Good communication, discipline & a professional approach
- Culinary / Pastry qualifications will be an advantage
- Chef de Partie: demonstrated ability to manage a section
- Demi Chef: strong fundamentals with the potential to take on greater supervisory responsibility
