We Are Hiring – Finance Manager
Elisha is a Manufacturer of Garment and leading retailer / wholesaler of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and accessories with a dedication to sustainable fashion for the best value in Sri Lanka. We Operate Retail shops as well as Garment Production Factories. Elisha is partner of leading garment manufacturers in Sri Lanka.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial transactions
- Prepare daily, monthly, and annual financial reports
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain cash book, bank transactions, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents
- Monitor customer and supplier balances and follow up on outstanding payments
- Maintain proper records of fabric, production-related, and finished goods transactions
- Coordinate with the other Department to ensure accurate inventory records
- Assist with stock verification and investigate inventory differences
- Monitor production costs and assist with garment costing when required
- Prepare payroll information and coordinate salary-related accounting activities
- Assist with EPF, ETF, tax, and other statutory accounting requirements
- Support the preparation of budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and management reports
- Maintain proper documentation for audits
- Liaise with banks, suppliers, customers, auditors, and other relevant parties
- Ensure accounting procedures comply with company policies and applicable regulations
- Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Part qualification in ACCA, CIMA, AAT, CA, or equivalent will be an advantage
- 2–3 Previous experience in accounting, preferably in a garment, apparel, manufacturing, or trading company
- Experience with inventory accounting and stock control will be an advantage
