Home Lands Group, one of Sri Lanka's most respected and leading property developers, is creating Oceana Wadduwa, a distinctive coastal hospitality and residential destination that combines contemporary luxury lifestyle living and authentic Sri Lankan hospitality.
As we move towards opening, we are seeking two dynamic and highly accomplished hospitality professionals to establish and lead our signature restaurant, bar and culinary operations to international five-star standards.
EXECUTIVE CHEF
Head of Culinary Operations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead menu development, recipe standards and food presentation across outlets.
- Establish and implement HACCP, kitchen SOPs, quality standards and hygiene controls.
- Recruit, train and lead a high-performing culinary brigade.
- Manage food cost, inventory, purchasing, productivity and waste control.
- Create a distinctive culinary identity and deliver exceptional guest satisfaction.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Recognised Diploma/Diploma in Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery or Hotel Management.
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive culinary experience.
- At least 5 years in a head chef role or comparable culinary leadership in a five-star hotel, luxury resort or international operation.
- Strong multi-cuisine capability and leadership with the ability to lead a diverse culinary brigade.
- HACCP certification and pre-opening experience highly desirable.
- Excellent command of English.
FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER
Head of F&B Service, Commercial Performance & Guest Experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all restaurant, bar and event-service operations to five-star standards.
- Establish F&B service standards, guest recovery and training systems.
- Recruit, develop and lead high-performing service teams.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, revenue, payroll, inventory and beverage cost and profitability.
- Develop promotions, beverage concepts and revenue-enhancing initiatives.
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and consistency across all outlets.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Degree/Higher Diploma/Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management or Food & Beverage Management.
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive F&B management experience.
- At least 5 years in a similar role in a five-star hotel, luxury resort or international operation.
- Strong financial acumen, beverage and people-management skills.
- Willing to relocate and possess HACCP training or pre-opening experience is advantageous.
- Excellent command of English.
