AmSafe Bridport, a member company of the TransDigm Group, is a world-leading provider of safety restraint products for the aerospace and defence industries. With 25 years of operations in Sri Lanka and a global manufacturing and service network, our main facility is located in the Wathupitiwala Export Processing Zone. Following the merger of AmSafe Bridport and Nordisk Aviation Products, we are seeking a Management Accountant to provide a key financial link between Nordisk and the wider AmSafe Bridport business.

Management Accountant - Nordisk
Hybrid Work Environment | Remote & Office – Wathupitiwala, Sri Lanka
Reporting to: Group Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and monthly financial reporting packages.
- Deliver P&L, Balance Sheet, variance analysis and timely month-end reporting.
- Manage product costing, BOM reviews and accurate COGS information.
- Analyse material, labour and overhead variances with Operations.
- Support pricing, bids, margin reviews and profitability assessments.
- Partner with Engineering, Production and Procurement on product costing and make-or-buy decisions.
- Provide financial insight across Sales, Quality, Order Fulfilment and Logistics.
- Oversee Accounts Payable, intercompany and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Full professional accounting qualification: CIMA, CA or ACCA.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.

- Able to meet strict financial reporting deadlines.
- Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Power BI, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Willing to undertake international travel for training and assignments.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within a manufacturing organisation.
