Team Leader Process

Location: Wathupitiwela

These positions are based in our state-of-the-art 24 hrs operated Coconut Milk, Coconut Milk Powder, Coconut Water, Desiccated Coconut and Virgin Coconut Oil Plants in our subsidiary company - Renuka Agri Foods PLC situated at Wathupitiwela.

Key job functions

• Ensure production plan is fully achieved on time and in compliance with internal and external requirements such as safety, quality, cost, delivery and environmental targets.
• Ensure the factory production floor have very good hygiene level, proper GMP followed, accountable to ensure that all quality systems and processes are adhered.
• Drive continuous improvement through initiatives.
• Drive Manufacturing Excellence implementing Practices to achieve the objectives of the factory.
• Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use Standard Routines to ensure sustainable results and drive continuous improvement to deliver breakthrough results.
• Ensure development of department team and staff through engaging and empowering people & performance management.

The ideal candidate should have the following prerequisites

• Graduate/Diploma holder in Engineering.
• 3-5 years' experience in Food/ Dairy/ Manufacturing industries (Production, Engineering, Filling-Packing).
• Sound Knowledge of key unit operations in manufacturing of products related to factory.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing machine maintenance and trouble shooting.
• Hands on experience in MS office/Excel/Graphical representation of data.
