Assistant Manager – Food Safety & Compliance

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Food Safety & Compliance to join our team and drive operational excellence across our service units. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement, and manage integrated food safety and compliance systems in alignment with HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Deliver structured training programs on food safety, occupational health & safety, and environmental compliance for both site-level and management teams.
  • Lead risk assessments, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate and support external audits, regulatory inspections, and certification processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation for all compliance and quality assurance activities.
  • Conduct on-site audits, staff training, compliance reviews, and incident investigations across SBUs as needed.
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislation, industry best practices, and emerging technologies, updating company policies accordingly.
  • Report on performance metrics, identify risk areas, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement to senior leadership.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science & Technology, Nutrition, Food Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or compliance within the food industry.
  • Experience in the catering or hospitality industry will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding and experience managing audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance frameworks.
  • Must be willing and able to travel frequently to support operations across multiple SBUs.
