Our dynamic and innovative environment fosters continuous learning and development.
Academic – Programme Manager / Course Leader (Aviation / Technology Focus)
NEXT Education Group is hiring full-time academic professionals to join its expanding team. This role involves more than teaching — you'll lead industry-relevant, globally accredited academic programmes, with a focus on aviation, technology, and business degrees. You'll help shape the academic journeys of students in the UAE, Kenya, and Sri Lanka. If you're passionate about education, programme development, and making an impact, NEXT wants to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the academic delivery of undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes in aviation, business, or technology disciplines.
- Oversee programme operations, including timetabling, teaching quality, student experience, and academic compliance in collaboration with our UK university partner.
- Deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and assessments, maintaining alignment with UK higher education standards and local industry demands.
- Mentor students — many of whom are working professionals — through their academic and career development journeys.
- Act as the primary academic liaison across delivery locations in the UAE, East Africa, and Sri Lanka, ensuring smooth coordination and consistent academic standards.
- Support the development and adaptation of curriculum to reflect regional relevance and global trends, particularly in aviation, digital transformation, and emerging tech.
- Supervise research and industry projects, especially those linked to real-world aviation or tech challenges.
- Contribute to marketing, admissions, and student onboarding processes, serving as an academic ambassador for the programme.
Skills and Experience
- A holder of a master's degree (preferred) in Aviation Management, Technology, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3–5 years of academic teaching experience, ideally with programme or module leadership responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work across multi-country educational ecosystems and understand diverse student needs.
- Passionate about education, mentorship, and working collaboratively with faculty and industry.
- Familiar with transnational education, UK academic frameworks, and adult learner engagement models.
- Organised, proactive, and confident in managing multiple academic cycles simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience working in or teaching for the aviation or tech sector, including professional training or executive education.
- Regional knowledge or experience in East Africa and GCC markets is a significant advantage.
